Shamanism

I've been interested in the shamanic path for over 30 years. I'm grateful for all of the teachers I've had, living and gone beyond, for the ancestors who hold me in their medicine circles and fireside chats, and for the local apus here, where I live.

Munay-Ki

The Rites of the Luminous Being

Munay-Ki

The Munay Ki are energetic transmissions first introduced by the Q'ero, the last living inkan holy people. There are nine rites; the ninth was first transmitted only a couple of years ago.

Receiving the rites was accompanied by a sweetness I hadn't known before, and working with the rites has been transformative.

Tipping the Balance

2012: The Great Turning Over

There is a growing awareness about 2012 and the great shifts coming. Personally, we're not sure what forms they'll take, but no matter the form, one of the best courses we can take is to work on healing ourselves, stepping into our power, and offering what assistance we can to facilitate the healing of others.

Healing vs Curing

Coming into balance within yourself and with the outside world

Healing vs Curing

Healing and curing are different. While western medicine is obsessed with curing, energy practictioners work with healing. Healing involves coming into balance within yourself and with the outside world as well as energetically with the Divine.

Munay-Ki Classes

A gift that you keep on giving

Munay-Ki Classes

I'm privileged to offer this class and gift these rites to you.

I've designed the class to be small and intimate with plenty of one-on-one time. The class is a mix of lecture and discussion, combined with some meditation, journey-work, the sweet transmission of the rites, and ceremonies that help you anchor the rites and grow them within your energy field.

Life as a Paco

What's simple is true

Over the years, I've been studying the energy medicine of the Americas--mostly the form still used by the shaman, currandero, and curandera of the high Andean mountains of Peru. The Q'ero--the descendants of the Inca--have been practicing their medicine ways almost undisturbed for centuries, and largely bypassed the destruction meted out to the rest of the indigenous population by the Spanish colonialists and conquistadors by simply living in isolation in the harsh environment at altitudes hovering around 16,000 feet.

How Energy Healing Works

Beautiful intelligence

Energetic healing works with a beautiful intelligence that is outside our Western, science-based understanding of how things work. The healing begins when you state your intention and take action, and deepens as your practitioner clears heavy, disordered energy and adds light to your energetic body.  The healing continues even after you leave.

Energy Healing Sessions

Determine your goals to choose the type of work

Energy Healing Sessions

They type of energy work you choose to do will be influenced by your level of comfort and the healing goals you have. Unsure of which to choose? A good rule of thumb is that if you're looking for an extremely peaceful experience where you get an energetic tune-up and leave feeling refreshed, choose a Reiki session. If you're willing to go deeper and have more aggressive healing goals and are willing to participate more fully(including homework!), go with a Shamanic session.

Create Ceremony

Design a new ceremony to move to the next level in your life

Create Ceremony

Ceremony is the method by which we can enter a consciousness that allows us to interconnect the Spiritual and the Physical. Through ceremony, we are able to feel connected to ourselves, to others, and to the environment and spiritual elements around us.
